1st day:Airport- Marrakech - Asni - Tizi n'Tichka col - Taroudant 265 km
Half board. Early departure to begin our tour. Direction for the Ourika Valley, 68Km southeast of Marrakech and passage in Asni, where an interesting Kasbah with red boundaries and splendid fruit trees can be found. The valley allows a pleasant excursion to discover the first slopes of the Atlas. You’ll also see the river Ourika and, along its run, clay houses villages. Another landmark of this valley is the famous Jabel Toubkal, the tallest peak of the Atlas and of the North Africa, with its 4167mt. Free lunch in Ourigane, thermal place famous for its salt mines. Pursuance toward the south, through the Tizi-n-test col, 2093mt, and Tin Mal, castellated holy city with its Mosque restored in 1990, Unesco World Heritage site, once one of the few religious buildings in Morocco accessible to the non-Muslims. Arrival in Taroudannt late in the afternoon, splendid city contained by its ochre bastions and surrounded by gardens, oranges and olive trees, called "the small Marrakech" for its vivacious souks. Supper and overnight stay in riad out the city of Taroudannt in a typical Douar (small village).
Half board. Promenade in the center of Taroudannt. Departure to visit the Kasbah and palm grove of Tioute and Freja, distant from the tourist circuits, set of the movie “Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves”. Between Taroudannt and Ighrem, the argan fields are alternated with dry stone villages. Igrehm, 94Km southeast of Taroudannt, is a big mountain village, 1800mt high. It is the base of the Oukensous tribe, famous for its production of ancient daggers; here the houses are pink and the women dressed in black with colored veils and bring ancient copper pitchers of water on their head. Passage in Tagmoute for the visit of the ancient Messalite caves. Arrival in the Tata Valley, described by the writer Charles de Foucauld. Between Ighrem and Tata, the road crosses a plain desert with yellow and violet mountains. Here you’ll meet the great Tata palm grove and the ancient Zaouia of Agadir Lhena and the water clock still used every day to give water to the gardens of the oasis. Last passage of the day in direction of the natural Falls of salty water of Tissint. Supper and overnight stay in a typical maison/riad; possibility of overnight stay in a typical tent in the heart of the valley.
Half board. Departure for Guelimime, city with mysterious charm and today famous for its great market, today a Festival devoted to the dromedaries. The festival is held in July and is part of the UNESCO world heritage. This country is considered the true door of the Sahara, here the language changes, the dialect Hassanya is spoken. You are in an uncontaminated cultural landscape. Promenade in the souk to gather the uses and customs of this part of Morocco where the tribe that dominate are the nomad of the desert, here called Saharawi. Supper and overnight stay near Guelmime in the Tighmert oasis, in a typical and simple Sarawhi guest house to respect the cultural context that welcomes you
Half board. Day devoted to the excursion of the area of Gueulmime. Few kilometers away we find the Atlantic Ocean. The Region, in fact, besides the shepherds, welcomes a very active community of anglers. Direction for the unusual seaside resort of El Ouatia. We recommend a free walk at the sunset to admire the color ochre of the whole oasis. Supper and overnight stay in a hotel.
Half board. Early departure for Sidi Ifni, ex Spanish enclave. You’ll rise again towards the north touching the Atlantic beaches of Legzira and Mirlef, theatrical and fascinating, thanks to their great natural arcs on the beach. Supper and overnight stay in a hotel in Agadir.
Breakfast. Departure for Marrakech. Arrival and private transfer to the riad in the heart of the medina. Free dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast. . Half day visit on foot of the city of Marrakech. The Médina, the Bahia Palais, which means “of the beautiful'' nickname given to the favorite lady of the court, rich habitation of the visir Ba Ahmed, built around the 1880. You’ll also see the Dar Si-Said, residence of the visir’s brother, the Mosque El-Mansour, also called the Kasbah mosque, easily recognizable thanks to its minaret with turquois arabesques; then the Saadiane graves, whose garden belonged to the El-Mansour mosque, where the sepulchers of the sovereigns and relatives of this dynasty can be found. Promenade in Jameel el Fna plaza, Unesco world heritage site, and near the Koutoubia, symbol of the city. Free time and free supper; overnight stay in riad.
Breakfast. Private transfer to the airport.
