day2: Marrakech guided walking tour
B&B. Guided walking tour of Marrakech around the most typical derbs (alleys) of the Medina. You'll get the chance to visit all the main attractions, starting from famous Jemaa El Fna Square, pumping heart of all activities in town, to the Minaret of the Koutubia and the lively and colourful souks, proceeding with the Kasbah, the Mellah (Jewish Quarter), Ben Youssef Medersa (Coranic School), the Saadian Tombs and the always beautiful Bahia Palace. The 19km long red bastions embracing the Medina open up on monumental gates, perfect examples of the best Moorish architecture. Free dinner and overnight at selected riad.
day3: Marrakech - Casablanca - Rabat (326km)
HB. Arrival in Casablanca, businness city of Morocco; visit to the main point of interest, Mosque Hassan II, second largest religious building in the world with a surface of 9 hectares, 2 of which facing the Atlantic Ocean. Its minaret is 200m high and at night illuminates the whole surrounding square. We leave Casa to reach Rabat, the actual political capital of the country, a rich and laid back coastal town whose main features are the wide boulevards and their lines of palm trees. Within the main attractions you'll enjoy walking around Kasbah Oudaia, the quiet but colourful Medina, Chellah necropolis and Hassan Tower and mausoleum. Dinner and overnight at selected hotel.
day4: Rabat - Meknes - Fes (206km)
HB. Departure for Meknes, a small Imperial city that welcomes us with its elegant Bab Mansour, the most important and notable of Meknes’ gates. This little town is divided in 3 distinct neighborhoods (Medina -Imperial City and the Kasbah - and New City) and boasts a very busy commercial centre due to the local production of quality olives, wine and mint. Only 1 hour's drive separates Meknes from Fes; along the way we stop to pay a visit to the historical site of Volubilis, an ancient Roman capital and small archaeological centre famous for its beautiful mosaics. The site was occupied by the Romans and began to flourish from the third century B.C. Up to the 40 A.D. Dinner and overnight in a riad in the heart of the Medina of Fez. day5: Fes guided walking tour
HB. Day dedicated to discover the city and its ancient Medina. Observing Fez from the top of the nearby hill (home to the Merenides’ Tombs), Medina El Balii appears like a compact and intricated unit or a sea of roofs and minarets embraced by the historic defensive walls. The river Fez separates the city in 2 essential parts, the Andalusian quarter (east side) and the Karaouiyine district (west side); among its most notable features we mention the Royal Palace and the ancient Jewish quarter. Dinner and overnight in a riad in the heart of the Medina.
day6: Fes - Beni Mellal - Ouzoud Waterfalls (250km)
HB. An excursion into nature will take you to the magnificent Ouzoud Waterfalls, the highest of Morocco -100m. The water flowing from these sources brings freshness and nourishment to the whole valley, which is the perfect place to relax surrounded by nature, especially in summer. Dinner and overnight in typical local kasbah.
day7: Ouzoud Waterfalls – Marrakech (300km)
B&B. Transfer to Marrakech where you'll have free time for yourself to enjoy the city inndipendently. Free dinner and night stay at selected riad.
day8: Marrakech Flight
After breakfast private transfer to Menara Airport 3 hours before departure. End of services.
